In his later years, you could find him at the square dances at the Whitneyville (Tioga County) Fairgrounds the first Saturday of every month throughout the winter months. Also, in the winter, he could be found in the kitchen on the second Saturday of the month, making scrapple for the family and anyone outside the family who decided they'd like some. He also enjoyed deer hunting and looked forward to it like a little kid looks forward to Christmas. Sadly, his stroke didn't allow him to hunt this year and he was missed by all the family who hunted with him.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Church of the New Covenant, Extension Street, Mansfield, PA 16933 with the pastor Mark Scafidi officiating.
