Obituary of Donna Peffer

Donna Darlene Carey Peffer, age 75, of Mainesburg, PA, passed away quietly in her sleep Sunday, July 19, 2015 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. To those her spirit touched she would not want you to linger on the sadness. She would say death, loss, and hard times are a part life so get on with living. Her legacy is; to give those who need it (privately of course), do not depend on others to do what you can do yourself, hard work will cure a whole lot that ails you, take pride in what you do, tell people what's on your mind and do not confuse the meaning by sugar coating it, and play hard. She would want you to remember her wild, fun loving, crazy antics, and what fun she had. Know that she loved and enjoyed all of you. Donna is survived by 2 sons; Jerry Peffer of Middlebury Center, PA, Lloyd (Lauren) Peffer; a daughter, Penny (Donnie) Strong ; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Carol (Reid) Chamberlin of Mainesburg, PA, Jean (Marlin)Cohick of Ogdensburg, PA, Glenda (Chett) Sherant of Arnot, PA, and Margaret (J.B) Davis of Kentucky. She is predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
