Obituary of Theresa Ann Jacoby

Theresa "Tess" Ann Jacoby, age 73, of Millerton, PA, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. She was born August 7, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of Anthony and Margaret (Nilan) Purificato. Theresa was the wife of Edwin G. Jacoby for 43 years. She was a member of the West Jackson Baptist Church; enjoyed playing bingo, hunting, fishing, shooting, and loved her children and grandchildren. Theresa is survived by her husband, Edwin; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Jennifer Jacoby of Philadelphia, PA; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Leighann and Norman Hammer of Philadelphia, PA, Fawn and Brett Russell-Greenburg of Levittown, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Cass Purificato of Levittown, PA; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Leo Doyle; brothers, Anthony and Willie; a sister, Susan. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
