Obituary of Evelyn Delores Gee

Evelyn Delores Winnie Gee, age 56, of Troy, PA, passed away June 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on January 21, 1960 in Corning NY, the daughter of Walter and Delores (Ellsworth) Winnie. Evelyn worked as a custodian. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy. Evelyn loved animals, cross stitching, crafts, board games and her computer. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Gee of Troy, PA; 2 daughters, Elizabeth (Thomas) Chilson of Towanda, PA, Jarralee Hakes of Liberty, PA; 10 grandchildren; several special friends, including Jennifer Everson and children, Charlene (Thomas) Carey and children, and several more; brothers, Scott Winnie of NC and Alan Winnie of Odessa; sisters, Donna Winnie of Elmira, NY and Rosa Winnie of MO; sisters-in-law, Laura Barrett of Troy, Edie Suazo of Troy, Terrie Perry of Towanda, and Sue Lundy of Towanda; several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces. Evelyn was predeceased by both of her parents, and a grandson, Joshualee Hakes. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Troy, 579 Canton St., Troy, PA. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Garry Zuber officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
