Obituary of Raymond Nybeck

Raymond "Moose" Nybeck, age 66, of Morris Run, PA died Monday, July 11, 2016 at The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born August 28, 1949 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Albert and Alice (Brooks) Nybeck. Moose was the husband of Sandra (Williams) Nybeck. He was retired from N.T.S.W.A. and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Moose was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 167 in Morris Run where he served as vice-commander for many years, the V.F.W. and Loyal Order of the Moose in Canton, PA, lifetime member of the Hillside Rod and Gun Club in Blossburg, PA. He loved to play Euchre and enjoyed stocking fish. Moose is survived by his wife, Sandy; 2 sons, Raymond (Amy) Nybeck of Blossburg, PA, Richard (Lyndsay) Nybeck of Munson, PA; step-son, John Dunn of Swarthmore, PA; a daughter, Kelly (Adam Damon) Teasenfitz of Clifton, CO; brothers and sisters, Vernon Nybeck, Sandra (Richard) Bord, Joyce (Donald) Wickman all of Morris Run, PA, Donald Nybeck of Lebanon, PA and Joseph (Mary) Nybeck of Canton, PA; 11 grandchildren, Christopher, Tamara, Hailey, Rylee, Aaliyah, Brayden, Derek, Wyatt, Kenadey, Madison and Mallory; 1 great grandchild, Kameryn; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Moose was predeceased by 2 brothers, Fred and Richard Nybeck, 2 sisters, Carol Lucas and Mary "Sis" Smith, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating.
