Obituary of Dorothy J. Wilber

Dorothy J. Wilber, age 87, of Daggett, PA, died Friday, July 22, 2016 at Elcor Nursing Home, Horseheads, NY. She was born November 28, 1928 in Mainesburg, PA, a daughter of Harold and Celia (Bullard) Robson. She worked as an assistant manager for Marine Midland Bank in Elmira NY before she retired. Dorothy was a member of the Daggett United Methodist Church. She was instrumental in restoring the one room school house in Daggett enjoyed quilting, reading, flower gardening and the FAN Club. Dorothy is survived by 3 sons; Donald (Louise) Wilber, Troy, PA, Richard "Dick" Wilber of State College, PA, Gerald "Jerry" (Barb) Wilber of Pine City, NY; a daughter, Joyce (Joe) Nichols of Lawrenceville, PA; a sister, Elaine Bubacz of Allentown, NH; 2 sisters-in-law, Leona Robson of Mansfield, PA, Jeanne Wilber of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Beverly and Harland Evans of Millerton, PA; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, JoAnn Morrell on August 12, 2002, brother, Harold "Bud" Robson; sister, Alice Robson and twin infant sisters. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral chapel with Pastor Donald Rockwell officiating. Burial will be in Gray Valley Cemetery, Sullivan Twp.
