Obituary of William T. Smith

William “Bill” T. Smith, age 79, of Mansfield, PA, was released from his pain and went in the hands of the lord on Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Linda (Youmans) Smith with whom he observed a 56 wedding anniversary on July 8th. Bill was born on November 6, 1936 in Niles Valley, PA a son of Walter and Lena (Hakes) Smith. He retired from Kingdom Printing. Bill was a member of the River of Life Church and his favorite hobby was fishing. Bill is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons and a daughter-in-law Matthew Smith of Mainesburg, PA and Michael (Jeri) Smith of Mansfield, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and George Ricketts of GA; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude Ellison of Antrim. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Freddie and Clarence and two sisters Beatrice and Bernice. In keeping with Bill’s wishes there will be no services.
