Obituary of Sheila Jean Smith

Sheila Jean Smith, age 61, of Mansfield, PA, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Williamsport Hospital. She was born September 27, 1955 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Daniel Benjamin and Madeline Helen (Ferranti) Fortney. She enjoyed doing crafts, canvas, yarn projects, word search games and coloring. Sheila is survived by a son, Richard Smith, Jr. of Mansfield, PA; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Robert Martin of Orrstown, PA, Susan and Brian Blackwell of Wellsboro, PA; a step-son, James Teeter of Wellsboro, PA; a step-daughter, Sherry (Martin) Kennedy of Mansfield, PA; 10 grandchildren, Brandon, Brayden and Brycen Blackwell, Robert Martin, IV, Kaylee and Noah Smith, Mark, Chad, Danielle and Trenton Kennedy; 2 brothers, Daniel Fortney and Raymond "Larry" Haslett; 7 sisters, Linda Smith, Karen Crum, Nancy Dawes, Jeanette Witucki, Vivian Miller, Susan Overpeck and Arloween Witucki. She was predeceased by two brothers, Terry and Robert Fortney. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
