Obituary of Evelyn M. Johnston

Evelyn M. Johnston, age 89, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Forrest Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, PA. She was born April 5th, 1927 in Harrisburg, PA. Evelyn was the wife of the late Gordon R. Johnston who died September 13, 2002. She was a member of the Evangelical Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, making rag rugs, crafts, and her cats. Evelyn is survived by a brother, Russell Weaver, of Chambersburg, PA. in addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 4 sisters, Florence Warner, Pearl Weaver, Josephine Cook and Mary Weaver; 4 brothers, Charles, Paul, Arthur and Wilbur Weaver. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
