Obituary of David E. Stoner

David E. Stoner, age 68, of Gaines, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 11, 1948 in York, PA, a son of Charles Stoner. David had been a mechanic at the family auto body shop until his retirement, after which he continued working at Bachman Auto Salvage and Gaines Garage. He was a member of the Elk Run Hunting Club, York, PA, and enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing. David is survived by his sons Dustin Price of Gaines, PA; Travis Price of Harrisburg, PA; Michael Berger and Matthew Berger, both of York, PA and Jack Bowlsbey of Dover, PA.; a brother, Bob; and sisters Deb, Linda and Pat. He is predeceased by his daughter Amanda Stoner and his brother Charles Stoner, Jr. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
