Obituary of Thelma J. Harden

T. June Heichel, age 89, of Mansfield, PA, died Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. She was born May 12, 1928 in Fallbrook, PA, a daughter of Seymour and Creola Carey. June was predeceased by her Husband, Harley J. "Bud" Heichel in 1982. She worked as a Care Nurse at the Green Home and Broad Acres in Wellsboro as well as private nursing before she retired. June enjoyed going to rummage sales and yard sales. Thelma is survived by a son, Harley B. Heichel of Ocklawaha, FL; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Norma and Randy Smith of Jonestown, PA, Cindy Heichel of Mansfield, PA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 2 brothers, James and Kenneth Carey, and a sister, Mary Ellen Terry; 2 granddaughters, Tammy and Annie Heichel. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
