Obituary of Faye A. Tokarz

Faye A. (Smith) Tokarz, age 89, of Covington, PA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Faye was born December 15, 1927 in Covington, PA, a daughter of Wesley and Leona Smith. She was the wife of the late John Tokarz who passed away in 2006. Faye was a homemaker and baker. Faye was a member of the Bakerburg Community Church and enjoyed volunteering. Fay is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Betsy Tokarz, Douglas Tokarz, all of Mansfield, PA; four daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Philip VanNess of Mainesburg, PA, Kathy and Steven DeHaven of Covington, PA; Nancy and David Stanton of Mansfield, PA, Kristen Tokarz of Covington, PA; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; four sisters, Lucille Persun of Williamsport, PA, Marcile (Wilbert) Cleveland of Trout Run, PA, Marcia Greer of Liberty, PA and Patricia (Donald) Chaborek of Covington, PA; sisters-in-law, Wanda Harnas of Corning, NY and Ann Staron of Wellsboro, PA. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Peggy, June, Betty Jean and Sandra Kay. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to Noon at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing at noon at the funeral chapel with Pastor Paul Binkley officiating. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery, Covington, PA.
