Obituary of Eleanor L. Sargent

Eleanor L. Sargent, age 78, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro. She was born on March 27, 1939 in Belleville, NY, a daughter of John and Ruth Hine. Eleanor was the wife of the late Frank Sargent Jr. She was employed as a clerk for Bilo. Eleanor enjoyed word search puzzles, sewing, baking, canning, coloring, and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Frank lll and Barbara Sargent of Mansfield, PA, Kim Sargent of Blossburg, PA; a daughter and a son-in-law, Julie and Mark Campbell of Morris Run, PA; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Jr.; two sons, Geoffrey James Sargent; infant, Dale Allen Sargent; five brothers, Dick, Robert, John, Ed, Pete; two sisters, Phyla, and Christine. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mansfield Ambulance Association, 381 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA 16933.
