Obituary of Ruth Wilkins
Ruth Wilkins, age 86, of Covington, PA passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Geisinger. She was born on October 30, 1931 in Tiadaghton, PA, a daughter of Grant E. Kennedy and Elizabeth N. (Wilson) Kennedy. Ruth was the wife of the late Charles W. Williammee who died in 1961. She was a homemaker. Ruth enjoyed writing poetry, and was a published award winning poet, coloring, word searches, and taking care of her family.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Williammee of Covington, PA, Ervin (Jamie) Williammee of NC, Barry Williammee of Covington, PA; five daughters, Kathy Emmick of Morris, PA, Christina Butler of Wellsboro, PA, Gale (Jeff) Wilcox of Tioga, PA, Sharlene Walushka of Hellertown, PA, Kelly Wilkins of Lawrenceville, PA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Kennedy of Wellsboro, PA, Calvin Kennedy of Coudersport, PA, LeRoy (Sandy) Kennedy of Middlebury Center, PA; a sister, Jean Ingerick of Wellsboro, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Williammee, three sons, Joseph Wilkins in 2012, Gary Williammee in 2014, James W. Williammee in 2014; a grandson, Jason Wilkins; a great grandson, Dakota Bowen; a brother Wilbur Kennedy.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from Noon to 2PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
