Obituary of Anthony Michael Williams

Anthony Michael Williams, age 92, of Morris, PA, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Williamsport Hospital. He was born June 26, 1925 in Antrim, PA, a son of William and Blanche (Kajenski) Williams. Anthony was married to the late Lorna P. (Butler) Williams. He retired from Corning Glass Works after 38 years of service and just received his 70 year pin. Anthony was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII. He was a member of F&AM Blossburg Lodge and enjoyed hunting, playing with the Morris, Antrim and Coolidge Hollow ball teams, and spending time with his family. Anthony is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Bernard "Bernie" and Marcie Williams of Liberty, PA, John Williams of Morris, PA; a sister, Anna Russell of Corning, NY; 7 grandchildren, Lon Williams, Jill Harris, Jason, Eric, Heather, Adam and Patrick Williams; 6 great grandchildren, Noah, Titas, Caleb and Silus Williams, Spencer and Allison DuVall. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorna; 2 sons, Anthony, Jr. and Michael Williams, his brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Tioga County Memorial Gardens, 61 Memorial Gardens Rd., Mansfield, PA with Pastor Lon Williams, his grandson, officiating.
