Obituary of Lester Fayette Congdon

Lester Fayette Congdon, age 86, of Millerton, PA, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home. He was born March 19, 1931 in Elmira, NY, a son of Edgar Fayette and Leone (Pellor) Congdon. Lester and his wife, Darlene (Rumsey) Congdon would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on April 13th. He worked as a maintenance man for Westinghouse before he retired. Lester enjoyed doing lawn work, gardening and loved his family. Lester is survived by his wife, Darlene; a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Raymond Miller of Tioga, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Karl and Connie Congdon of FL; a sister, Donna Morkrazmyski of FL; a granddaughter, Jaclynn (Nathan) Martin. Lester was predeceased by a brother, Robert Congdon, and his parents. Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering at Lester's daughter's home at 148 Lake St., Tioga, PA on Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.
