Obituary of Larry E. Cummings
Larry E. Cummings, age 62, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his home. He was born on May 13, 1955 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Rexford and Iva (Tillinghast) Cummings. He was the husband of Sharon (Mattison) Cummings. Larry was employed at Ward Flex in Shipping and Receiving when he retired from Ward Manufacturing with 40 years of service. He was a loving husband, dad and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, spending time with family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren, being outside, campfires and working with his hands.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Kelly Zettle of Falls Creek, PA, Kasey (Pete) Terzella of Chittenango, NY; a step-son, Ryan (Margaret) Stocum of Springtown, PA; a step-daughter, Heather (Nathan) Briner of Bethlehem, PA; five grandchildren, Ella Zettle, Parker and Alex Terzella, Mariah and Savannah Briner; two brothers, Rexford (Bonnie) Cummings of Wellsboro, PA, Thomas (Janet) Cummings of Mansfield, PA; five sisters, Donna (Howard) Campbell of Wellsboro, PA, Dianne (Robert) Wandell of Mansfield, PA, Sandra (John) Snell of Wellsboro, PA, Jeannie (Marlon) Ortego of Jacksonville, FL, Robin Southard of Wellsboro, PA; in-laws, Paul (Rita) Mattison of Zephyrhills, FL, Teresa Mattison of Wellsboro, PA, Paul (Linda) Mattison of Tioga, PA, Michael (Peggy) Mattison of Mansfield ,PA, Vanessa (Charley) Caswell of Mansfield, PA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Tillinghast; a sister, Terry Gleason.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Mike Bernard and Pastor Debbie Button officiating. Memorial contributions may be made the Buckheit Funeral Chapel to assist with expenses.
