Obituary of Janet Smith
Janet T. Smith, age 88, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Broad Acres. She was born on September 30, 1929 in West Virginia, a daughter of Floyd and Anna (Denkenberger) Wilcox. Janet was the wife of Ellsworth A. Smith with whom they shared 72 years of marriage. She was a member of the State Road Baptist Church. Janet enjoyed quilting, canning jelly, knitting, crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Ellsworth; a son, Lonsworth Smith of North Carolina; two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy P. Smith of Mansfield, PA, Linda and Ronald Copp of Mansfield, PA; four grandchildren, Angela, Soni, Meredith, Brandon; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Emily Pflueger of Niagara Falls, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Robert and Richard Wilcox; a sister, Patricia Tokarz.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 1PM at the State Road Baptist Church, 1600 Old State Road, Mainesburg, PA.
