Obituary of Dean A. Miller

Type Obit Here Dean A. Miller, age 69, a lifelong resident of Liberty, PA, died at his home Sunday, July 23, 2006. He was married to Alta (Heatley) Miller with whom he would have celebrated 40 years of marriage on September 18, 2006. Dean was born on April 26, 1937, a son of Edward P. and Mary (Utter) Miller. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Corey Creek Golf Club; and the East Point Fish and Game Club. Dean was a US Navy veteran and served on the USS John Willis. He was retired from Ward Manufacturing, Blossburg, PA. Dean is survived by his wife, Alta; a son, James A. Miller, and two daughters, Suzanne Miller and Deborah K. Miller, all of Williamsport, PA; one granddaughter, Heather Lynn Hackenberry; and a brother and sister-in-law, Basil D. and Alda Miller of Trout Run, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 29, 2006 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas L. Harmic officiating.
