Obituary of Ettie M. Kent

Ettie M. (Trowbridge) Kent, age 95, of Mansfield, PA, died on Monday, July 9, 2007 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Ettie was born on October 13, 1911 in Trowbridge, PA, a daughter of the late Lemuel and Harriet (Bailey) Trowbridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Jay B. Kent in June, 1985. Ettie was a homemaker and was a member of the 55 Plus Club, the Roseville United Methodist Church and their Womens Club. Ettie is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Elizabeth Cooper Kent of Fort Plain, NY, Charles and Nancy Kent of Mansfield, PA, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Jay Kent, Jr. and two daughters, Dorothy June Clark and Jayne Beatrice Jones. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 2:30 to 3:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory and Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with the Rev. Kevin Brophy officiating.
