Obituary of Patrick Farrell

Patrick Robert Farrell, age 73, of Loganton, PA, passed away on February 12, 2018 at Williamsport Hospital. He was born on March 16, 1944 in Charleston, SC, a son of Robert Farrell and Margery (Mix) Hitchcock. Patrick was a Fisheries Biologist for Lamar Fish Hatchery. He enjoyed bird watching, model trains, giving the Amish rides, fishing, hunting, tools, and helping his friends with butchery. Patrick was a US Veteran having served in the Navy. He is survived by two daughters, Heather Farrell of Mansfield, PA, Erin McCormick of Covington, PA; five grandchildren, Kaitlin, Brendan, Kendelle, Ashley, Calleigh; a brother, James (Susan) Farrell of Wellsboro, PA; two step brothers, Wendell (Kay) Hitchcock of Texas, Thomas (Francesca) Hitchcock of New York; a sister, Kathleen (Michael) Irey of Bloomsburg, PA; a step sister, Nancy (Bob) Thomas of Mainesburg, PA. Family friends are invited to call on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4PM to 6PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6PM with Rev. Brian Reid officiating.
