Obituary of Joyce Bixby

Joyce Bixby, age 94, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Broad Acres in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on February 6, 1924 in Granville Twp., PA, a daughter of Lawrence Greenough and Annabel (Shoemaker) Greenough. Joyce was the wife of the late Britt Bixby who died in 2001. She was employed at Mansfield University as a secretary for 30 years. Joyce is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Yohanna Bixby of Modesto, CA, Scott and Virginia Bixby of Mansfield, PA, Mark and Arifa Bixby of Houston, TX, Chris and Susan Bixby of Loganville, PA, Jon and Marie Bixby of Pensacola, FL; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Charles "Jake" Randall of Bernville, PA; a special nephew, Don Bixby; nieces, Kelly Murray and Connie Chilson. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Noon to 1PM at the First Baptist Church, Sherwood & Main St, Mansfield, PA 16933. A service will immediately follow at 1PM.
