Obituary of Morgan L. Woodworth, DC

Morgan L. Woodworth, D.C. age 61 passed away on May 10, 2018 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport, PA. He was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Latimer) Woodworth, D.C . They celebrated 31 years of marriage on November 22, 2017. Morgan was born on April 24, 1957 in Montour Falls, NY. He was the son of Nelson and Anne (Morgan) Woodworth Meehan. Morgan and his wife, Linda, were both chiropractors who owned and operated Woodworth Chiropractic for 28 years in Covington, PA. He was a 17 year member of the Christian Church at Cogan Station. Morgan enjoyed reading the Bible, praising the Lord, playing the harmonica, woodworking and doing home repairs. Morgan dearly loved his patients, friends and relatives. He found it a privilege to pray for them. We are sure the greeting Jesus gave him in Heaven was "well done, good and faithful servant". He was an honorably discharged army veteran having served in the post Vietnam Era. He was stationed in Landstuhl at the U.S. Army Hospital where he served as a cabinet maker. Morgan is survived by his wife, Linda Woodworth, D.C. of Covington, PA; a brother Larry, sister-in-law, Sheila Woodworth of Hector, NY ; a sister, Nancy Woodworth of Watkins Glen, NY and Lee-Anne Woodworth –a sister-in-law. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews: Emily Bozeat, Paul, sister in law Viola Woodworth, Leah Shaw, Rachel Meyer, Zach Woodworth and Samantha Shaw. Morgan was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Jim Woodworth. A celebration of his life will take place on July 29, 2018 at 12:00 at the Christian Church at Cogan Station in Cogan Station, PA 17728 . Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
