Obituary of Joyce Roberts

Joyce (McKeel) Roberts, age 70, of Lawrenceville, PA, died on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. She was born on November 24, 1936 in Huntington Mills, PA, a daughter of Arthur and Harriet (Meeker) McKeel. Joyce and her husband, Thomas Roberts, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 31, 2007. She served as the president of the JAR Service Inc. since 1987. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to her collection of music. In addition to her husband, Thomas, Joyce is survived by two sons, David Roberts of Lawrenceville, PA, and Duane Roberts of Tioga, PA; two grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law, George and Stella McKeel of Benton, PA. Joyce was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth and Iris, a brother, Wayne and a daughter-in-law, Yvonne (Campbell) Roberts in 2003. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday September 26, 2007 from 6 to 7 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing at 7 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Strozyk officiating.
