Obituary of Alfred W. Wilcox

Alfred W. Wilcox Jr., age 93, of Covington, PA, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born May 18, 1925 in Covington, PA to Alfred Sr. and Mabel (Wood) Wilcox. Alfred was the husband of the late Maxine Wilcox with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage. He was a member of the Covington Church of Christ. Alfred is survived by 2 sons, George (Brenda) Wilcox of Millville, PA, Samie (Sharon Kendrick) Wilcox of Covington, PA, 5 grandchildren Samantha (Jerry Ogden) Wilcox, Daniel (Stefania) Wilcox, Christie (Paul) Blackwell, Kasey (Joshua) Mastellar, Trisha Wilcox. He was preceded in death by his wife on March 16, 2016, a son Arthur Lloyd Wilcox on September 14, 1986 and a daughter in-law Christine Wilcox on April 11, 2015. A private graveside service will be held in Frost Settlement Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA 16933
