Obituary of Richard C. Nowak

Richard C. Nowak, age 76, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 5, 1942 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Sylvester and Veronica (Swinsick) Nowak. Richard was the husband of Dianne (Owlett) Nowak. He was a US Veteran having served in the Marine Corps. Richard was a member of Holy Child and enjoyed photography, fishing, hunting, and enjoyed spending time with his dog Max.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne; two sons, Steve Nowak of Mansfield, PA, Eric (Camren) Nowak of MO; a daughter, Sharlene (Thomas Tuck) Farrer of Mansfield, PA; two grandchildren, Makenna and Maggie Farrer; two brothers, Dan (Sue) Nowak of Mansfield, PA, Robert (Linda) Nowak of Mansfield, PA; a sister, Jane Davis of Asaph, PA.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated on Friday November 16, 2018 at 10AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 138 Saint Mary's St., Blossburg, PA with Rev. Bryan Wright as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. He was especially proud of being a Marine and celebrating the Birthday every year.
