Obituary of Ruth A. Dibble

Ruth A. Dibble, age 89 of Canton, PA, passed away at Bradford County Manor on December 2, 2018. Ruth was born on March 2, 1929 in Elizabeth, NJ, a daughter of Joseph and Eleanor (MacKinzie) Angerbauer, Jr. Ruth was the wife of the late Russell Clark Dibble, Sr., a WWII Army veteran who preceded her in death in 1998. She was previously employed as the Assistant Superintendent at the Martha Lloyd School and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Troy. Ruth also taught horseback riding and competed in English riding at horse shows. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, flowers and gardening. Ruth is survived by her son Russell (Dawn) Dibble, Jr. of Columbia Crossroads; daughter JoAnn (Paul) Schaffer of Canton; grandchildren Jamie (Jarad) Morehouse and Thad (Janna) Dibble; 4 great grandchildren Tyler and Evan Morehouse, and Connor and Payton Dibble. Honoring Ruth's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 130 Elmira St., Troy, PA. 16947.
