Obituary of Lorraine Townsend

Lorraine Townsend, age 76, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on December 15, 2018 at the Bradford County Manor. She was born on August 12, 1942, a daughter of Arthur and Mary Lou (Farrer) Townsend. Lorraine was a Social Worker for the Area Agency on Aging who helped found the Veteran's Coalition and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6757. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid activist and volunteer. Lorraine is survived by a son, Kelly Hardiman of Mansfield, PA; daughters Lokeri (Gary) Wood and Denise (Brad) Stettler both of Mansfield, PA; grandchildren Isaac Stettler, Ethan Stettler, Katlyn Hardiman, Logan Wood, and Karis Stettler; sisters Phyllis Townsend and Sandra Hammeken; brothers Arthur Townsend, Jr, Richard (Fran) Townsend, Steven (Nancy) Townsend, and Neil Townsend; special friends Dave and Diane Muffley. She was predeceased by her parents. Services will be announced at a later date.
