Obituary of Virginia Fessler

Virginia C. Fessler, age 82 of Mansfield, PA, passed away December 27, 2018 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport, PA. Born on December 7, 1936, in Corning, NY, Virginia was a daughter of LeRoy and Velma (Fish) Creeley. She was employed as a cataloger for Mansfield University for over 37 years and was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, camping, shopping and spending time with her family. Virginia married Eugene Fessler on June 29, 1957. They would have celebrated 62 years of marriage in 2019. Virginia is survived by her husband Eugene; daughter Sherry (Mike) Antes of Oxford, PA; sons Mike (Kate) Fessler of Ruther Glen, VA, Chris (Kim) Fessler of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Scott (Lori) Fessler of Covington, PA; daughter-in-law Carla Fessler of Fredricksburg, VA; grandchildren Brittany King, Vicki Madison, Chad Fessler, Ashley Antes, Kyle Antes, Kelsey Fessler and Kassidy Fessler; great grandchildren Lily King and Bristol Madison; sisters Patti Kendrick of Mansfield, PA and Mary Lou Dieterle of Elmira, NY. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and sister Leona McKinney. Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Bryan Wright officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrews Cemetery, Blossburg, PA. Flowers will be provided by the family.
