Obituary of Edna Stewart

Edna L. Stewart, age 87, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Broad Acres. She was born on January 12, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of Robert and Sarah (Lynn) McKee. Edna was the wife of Robert J. Stewart with whom she spent 65 years of marriage. She was employed at the R. B. Walter Elementary School as an Assistant Librarian. Edna enjoyed taking care of children and cross word puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; a son, David (Eloise) Stewart of Tioga; a daughter, Lynn (Thomas) Bower of Middlebury, PA; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Robbins, Robert (Kate) Stewart, Alexzander Stewart, Kristoffer (Liz Brackley) Bower, Carl (Heidi) Bower, Jessica Bower, Roger Cunningham; three great grandchildren, Kendall Robbins, Colgan Stewart, Wyatt Bower. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Rhonda Fromm on October 27, 2006; a sister, Shirley Laverty.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
