Obituary of Christopher Rymarczuk
Christopher Rymarczuk, age 42, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was born on June 24, 1976 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Peter Rymarczuk and Candace Ann (Meyer) DeLong. Christopher was self-employed as a flooring specialist. His passion was his daughter and family. He enjoyed building and painting model trains, his cat Zeus, fishing, rock climbing, and shooting guns. Christopher was a member of the St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Candace and Jerry DeLong of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter, Natasha Rymarczuk of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren, Roman and Isabella; a sister, Tiffany (John) Schallenhammer and their son, Christopher Dragoni of Atco, NJ; two brothers, Erik (Lindsay Machinist) Rymarczuk and their son, Andrew of Harrisburg, PA, Peter (Jade Farr) Rymarczuk and daughter, Evalyn Rose of Wellsboro, PA; two step- brothers, Wade (Karen) DeLong of Wellsboro ,PA, Matthew (Jubelyn) DeLong of Wellsboro, PA; a step-sister, Amanda (Tony Stittely) DeLong of Wellsboro, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Peter; maternal grandmother, Sam Quelch; paternal grandparents, MyKola and Eva Rymarczuk.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Church, 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA from 9:30AM to 11AM. A mass will immediately follow at 11:15AM with Father Michael Popson as celebrant.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 7PM to 9PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 9:30 AM at St. Peters Catholic Church, 38 Central Ave., Wellsboro, PA with Father David Bechtel as celebrant. Burial will be held in St. Peters Cemetery. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
