Obituary of Barbara Zimmerman

Barbara A. Zimmerman, age 74, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2019 at her residence. She was born on June 6, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of Raymond and Lilian (Putz) Pleis. Barbara was the wife of John J. Zimmerman. Prior to her retirement Barbara worked in a sales position for NER that sold computer ribbons and cartridges. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and flowers. She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, John Zimmerman, Jr of NJ, Jim (Rhonda) Zimmerman of AZ; four grandchildren, Hunter Tipton, Macy Tipton, John III Zimmerman, Julie Zimmerman; a brother, Ronald Pleis of NJ; a sister, Debbie (Milton) Whittie of NJ. Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Glouster Co. Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
