Obituary of Milton Eugene Scarborough
Milton Eugene Scarborough, age 79, of Morris, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Green Home in Wellsboro. He was born on March 1, 1940, a son of Samuel and Alice (English) Scarborough. Milton was a very humble man who loved life and his newly found freedom. With much thanks to Centurion Ministries, 6 years ago he gained his freedom after being wrongfully convicted of murder, which he had nothing to do with. For 36 years, his life was wrongfully taken away from him. Milton was so honored to have his life back again that he held absolutely no hatred or anger towards anyone including all of those who framed him. He loved his niece's black pug, Emma and sitting on the front porch waving at all the vehicles passing by even the ones he didn't know.
Milton is survived by his sister in law, Cornelia Scarborough; and several nieces and nephews including one special niece, Bobbi (Brandon Shabloski) Hostetler of Morris with whom he resided with. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Theodore, Alton, Ronnie, and Irvin; and two sisters, Shirley and Betsy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1 PM at the Morris Social Hall, Route 287, Morris, PA. Memorial donations can be made to Centurion Ministries 1000 Herron Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
