Obituary of George E. Cummings

George E. Cummings, Jr., age 60, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 3, 1959 in Blossburg, PA, a son of George and Patricia (Queal) Cummings. George worked as a laborer at Sirianni Hardwoods and enjoyed hunting, riding four-wheelers and spending time with his family. George is survived by his father George Cummings, Sr. of Tioga, PA; son and future daughter-in-law Greg Cummings and Jessica Romaine of Mansfield, PA; brother Scott Cummings of Tioga, PA; brother and sister-in-law John and Lorrie Cummings of Morris Run, PA; Aaron Cummings of Wellsboro, PA; sister and brother-in-law Jenell and Timothy Pelton of Middlebury Center, PA; granddaughter Selene Cummings; step granddaughter Gabriella Hammer; his ex-wife Marcia Cummings of Westfield, PA. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2017 and his brother David Cummings in 1991. Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon with Reverend Samuel Seaman officiating.
