Obituary of Virginia Reynolds

Virginia (Benson) Reynolds, age 99, of Mainesburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at The Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born on April 11, 1921 in Mainesburg, PA, a daughter of Oswald "Ozzie" and Mabel (Hilfiger) Benson. She was married to the late Cecil Leon Reynolds who passed away in August of 1992. Virginia was a homemaker and a farmer's wife. She was a member of Bakerburg Community Church for over 50 years. Virginia was an avid sewer and quilter, and she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and baking. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Mary (Duane) Jackson of Mainesburg, and Sally Forrest of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Shawn Forrest, Sara (John) Wagner, and Chad (Lauren) Jackson; two great grandchildren, Heath Jackson, and Josh (Allison) Forrest; and one great great grandchild, Piper Forrest. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Velma Nash. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 10:00-11:00am at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA 16933. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00am. Burial will take place in Roseville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Bakerburg Community Church, 197 Gray Valley Rd.
