Obituary of Doris R. Taylor

Doris R. Taylor, age 87, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Broad Acres Nursing Home. She was born on December 23, 1932 in Springfield, PA, the daughter of Uri and Mary (Hall) Williams. Doris was married to the late William Taylor who passed away in 2007. She managed the Dipsie Doodle and the Bloss Diner. Doris was a member of Wellsboro Bible Church. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening flowers. Doris is survived by her sons Larry Robert (Judy) Tarbox of Wellsboro, Clifford Uri Tarbox of Ladson, SC, Robert Levi Tarbox of Blossburg; two daughters, Bonnie Louise (William) Johnston of Mansfield, and Mary Lee (John) Vlajic of Covington; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a half-sister, Arlene Klinger; and a step sister, Hazel Tarbox. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three husbands, Robert Tarbox, Theron Repard, and William Taylor. Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 11am-1pm at the Wellsboro Bible Church 45 East Ave Wellsboro, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1pm with Pastor TJ Freeman officiating. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S Main St. Mansfield, PA.
