Obituary of Faye Arlene Winder Phelps
Faye Arlene Winder Phelps passed away at her home on July 31st, 2020. Born October 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Harry F. Winder and Lydia A. Krause Winder. Faye is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Laverne D. Phelps, her sister Jacqueline Mase, and brother William Winder.
Surviving are her children, daughter Theresa Ritter (Max Johnson) of Wellsboro and sons Laverne Phelps Jr. (Ann) of Liberty, Mark Phelps (Sue Edler) of Liberty. Also surviving are two grandsons James and Andrew (Jill), and two great grandchildren Wyith and Mallory.
For 44 years, together with her husband Laverne, Faye worked hard to develop and maintain a successful farm and family.
In keeping with Faye's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
