Obituary of Joyce R. Sine

Joyce R. Sine, age 83, of Troy, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Bradford County Manor. She was born on November 12, 1936 in Corning, NY, a daughter of Ralph and Dora (Hughes) Colby. Joyce was the wife of Stanley Sine with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. She had been employed by JC Penney in Corning, NY, Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post, NY, Credit Bureau in Elmira, NY, CIDS in Elmira, NY, and Walmart in Mansfield, PA. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved animals, playing cards, shopping, country music concerts, helping those in need and most importantly – spending time with her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her husband Stanley along with daughters Leslie (Steve) Tanner Murphy of Horseheads, NY, and Beth McClure of Tioga, PA; grandchildren Andrea (Joseph) Schiavone of Big Flats, NY, Brenna Murphy of Horseheads, NY, Rachael Esterly of Jacksonville, NC, Tristan McClure of Millerton, PA, and DJ McClure of Jacksonville, NC; great grandchildren Donald, Randi, Kelby, Jaxen and Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Colby. In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place at Bath National Cemetery. Donations may be made in Joyce's memory to the Animal Care Sanctuary, 353 Sanctuary Hill Ln, East Smithfield, PA. 18817. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
