Obituary of Barbara W. Finch

Barbara W. Finch, age 82, on Sunday, November 15, 2020 left her temporary home to go to her permanent home to be with her son, Brad and her parents. She was born on April 20, 1938 in Wellsboro, the daughter of Leonard and Virginia (Welch) Wagner. Barbara and her husband, Lawrence "Pete" D. Finch, celebrated 65 years of marriage on July 9, 2020. She worked as a nurses aid for Broad Acres, The Green Home, Carleton Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and as a home health aid. Barbara enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bowling, and golfing. She enjoyed making blankets, hats, and gloves that she gave away at Christmas time at the Native Bagel. Barbara is survived by her husband; three sons, Daniel (Althea) Finch of Bethlehem, PA, Donald Finch of Elizabeth City, NC, and Lawrence "Larry" (Beverly) Finch of Mansfield; a daughter, Lorraine "Sue" Cummings of Wellsboro; a daughter-in-law, Janet Finch of Mansfield; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Brad Finch. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
