Obituary of Angel April Walker

Angel April Walker, age 35, of South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home. She was born on February 19, 1985 in Wellsboro, PA. The daughter of Carl and Jacqueline "Jackie" (Smith) Walker. Her grandparents Earnest Walker and Inez Walker preceded her in death. Angel followed in her Daddy's footsteps and graduated in December 2008 from Mansfield University with a Major in Communications. In 2015 Angel moved to Charlotte, NC, where she worked as a Patient Access Specialist for AmerisourceBergen Lash Group. She enjoyed writing books, baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Angel's book "Such is Life" was published on February 14, 2012 followed by her second book "Such is Love" on February 18, 2014. Angel leaves to cherish her memory, her parents; her god grandmother; her godfather Nelson Tuitt; her grandmother Pearlie Mae Smith; a brother, Robert (Dawn) Smith; a sister, Monica (George) Palmer; a godbrother Tahaun Tuitt; her nieces, Hailey, Amari, Devyn, Dawsyn, and Dylani; nephews, Demetri, Dorien, Kaynen, and Da' Kai; two godsons, Jensen and Avery; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Church of New Covenant, 310 Extension St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00pm with Lynn Johnson officiating. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Memorial Scholarship Fund established in Angel's name at the Mansfield Foundation at 71 S.
