Obituary of Carl James Belz

Carl James "Jim" Belz, age 79, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Corning Hospital. He was born on July 13, 1941 in Rutland Twp, a son of Carl and Carrie (Garrison) Belz. Jim was married to Judy A. (Harvey) Belz who passed away on December 4, 2020. Jim worked for Ingersoll Rand and enjoyed gardening. Jim is survived by his son, Michael Belz of Tioga; a daughter, Robin (Jeff) Knapp of Tioga; four grandchildren, Jeffery (Kaitlyn) Knapp, Jessica (Todd) Bailey, Cassie (James) White, and Carrie (Isaac) Howe; and a brother, Gary (Jeanette) Belz of Tioga. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Karla Belz Waller; two brothers, John Phillips, and William Phillips; and two sisters, Hazel Jones, and Lila Cummings. In honoring Jim's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries, 725 Gee Rd. Tioga, PA 16946.
