Obituary of Arietta June Parker

Arietta June Parker, age 87, of Westfield, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2021. She passed away peacefully at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. June was born on May 11, 1933 in Potter County to the late Charles and Josie (Weeks) Proctor. On March 7, 1952, she married the late Richard H. Parker. They were married for nearly 25 years in which they raised their 7 children on the family farm. June will be remembered for her candy-making skills, her love of having family gatherings at her home, and her quick wit and warm smile. She loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed spending her time fishing, gardening, cooking, crocheting, knitting and putting puzzles together. June is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Josie Proctor, her husband Richard H. Parker, her long-time significant other Harold W. Lewis, siblings Robert Proctor, Charles Proctor, Norman Proctor, Bert Proctor, Pearl Button, Wanita Burdick, Marjorie White, Ruth Snyder and Jane Yelich. June is survived in death by brother James Proctor, children Richard H. Parker, Jr., Barbara J Rankin, Velma R. Westbrook, Rose A. Knickerbocker, Karen L. (Jerold) VanNess, Rita R. (Scott) Perkins, Jaroyal C. Patterson, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Services will be held at Brookfield Church in Brookfield, PA on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Friends who wish to pay their respects may call from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Immediate family service will be held from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
