Obituary of Eleanor L. Moore

Eleanor L. (Kendrick) Moore, age 87, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Bradford County Manor in Troy, PA. She was born on July 7, 1933 in Blossburg, PA, the daughter of Russell and Wanda (Davis) Kendrick. Eleanor was married to Ronald W. Moore who passed away on September 3, 2009. She worked as a cook for the Hamilton Club, Tyoga County Country Club, Eddies (Green Lantern), and West's before retiring from Southern Tioga School District. Eleanor attended Whitneyville United Methodist Church. Eleanor is survived by her son, Russell "Rusty" (Laurie) Moore of Stafford, VA; a daughter, Lynn (Terry) VanOrden of Mansfield; a son-in-law, David Mitchell of Mansfield, PA; five grandchildren, Christin, Amy, Ryan, Wesley, and Samantha; and seven great grandchildren, Eleanor, Andrew, Anna, Ryan, McKenzi, Ashley, and Lacey. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Jean Patt Kendrick; her stepfather, James W. Daniel ; her husband; a daughter, Ronda Mitchell; and a sister-in-law, Kaye Brown. A private funeral service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Mansfield.
