Obituary of Kathleen F. Chase

Kathleen F. (Runyan) Chase, age 62, of Mansfield, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Born November 27, 1958 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Frances E. (Mower) Runyan. She has devoted her life to her family, friends, and work. She was employed at Soldiers & Sailors (UPMC) in Wellsboro, PA and Laurel Health in Mansfield, as a Medical Receptionist and the Central Scheduler for 23 years. Kathy enjoyed Zumba and Dance with Averi, Friday night dinners with family, the view from the back deck, designing beautiful cakes for the ones she loved, and most of all being with family. Kathy is survived by her husband Tim W. Chase, her three daughters, Tara L. Chase of Corning, NY, Tamara M. Chase of Covington, PA, and Tanya R. Avery of Covington, PA; a son Trenton (Trisha) W. Chase of Mansfield, PA; a brother Paul Runyan of Blossburg, PA; a sister Carol (Ray) Mackiewicz of Millerton, PA; and five grandchildren Averi, Thomas, Lilly, Arianna, and Jenessa. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
