Obituary of Ina Kriner

Ina M. (Barrett) Kriner, age 89, of Covington, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital. She was born on August 7, 1931 in Springfield, PA, a daughter of George and Grace (Truesdale) Barrett. Ina was married to the late Gordon Kriner who passed away in 1995. She was a member of Canoe Camp Church, Harvest Family Fellowship, and State Road Baptist Church. Ina was the past vice president of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, square dancing, Lena's dashounds playing on the computer, and playing with her great grandsons. Ina is survived by her son, Donald (Diana) Kriner of Mainesburg, PA; three daughters, Mary (Robert) Torpy of Middlebury Center, PA, Betty Harrower of Blossburg, PA, Lena (Duane) Frost of Covington, PA; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Raymond and Edward Barrett; a sister, Jennie Barrett Welch Bolt; a granddaughter, Christie Marie Frost; and a son-in-law, Lloyd Harrower. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 1-2pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2pm with Pastor Curtiss Owlett officiating. Burial will take place in State Road Cemetery in Mainesburg, PA.
