Obituary of Chance Deon Long

Chance Deon Long, age 26, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. He was born on September 18, 1994 in Wellsboro, PA a son of Donald and Debra (Folk) Long. Chance was married to Kathryn Rose (Baker) Long. He worked in sales for Wellsboro Rental and was a member of the Friendship Lodge #247 F&AM. Chance enjoyed cars, motorcycles, going for drives, and spending time with his children and family. Chance is survived his by wife, Kathryn and their children, Paisyne Kaye and Chandler Glenn Roger of Mansfield, PA; his parents, Donald and Debra Long of Mansfield, PA; his mother-in-law, Lisa Baker of Tioga, PA; a brother, Wade Long of Middleburg, PA; two sisters, Derica (Roger) Marsh of McClure, PA, and Keesha (Staci) Reitz of Harrisburg, PA; paternal grandmother, Lucille Long of Pine Summit, PA; maternal grandfather, George (Sherry) Folk of Troxelville, PA; several nieces and nephews, Reiko, Brohgan, River, Lennox, Stella, Sullivan, Jaxson, Tommy, Taylor, and Kiarra; two sisters-in-law, Ashley (Alex) Baker of Lawrenceville, PA, and Heather (Shawn) Baker of Wilmington, DE; two brothers-in-law, Jonathan (Bre) Baker of Tioga, PA, and Roy Baker, Jr. of Wellsboro, PA; an aunt, Cindy Ammerman of Rochester, NY; two uncles, Dave (Brian) Folk of Harrisburg, PA, and Craig (Cindy) Folk of Beaver Springs, PA; and many cousins and loved ones. He was preceded in death by an uncle, George Folk, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Florence Folk; paternal grandfather, Walter Long; and father-in-law, Roy Baker, Sr. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 5-7pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow immediately at 7pm with Reverend Bryan Wright officiating.
