Obituary of Jeanne Lawrence

Jeanne (Pomeroy) Lawrence, age 74, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on May 3, 1946, the daughter of Norman and Dorothy Pomeroy. Jeanne worked at Causeway Lumber in Fort Lauderdale, FL and various hospice cares throughout south Florida. Jeanne was also a member of The Sanctuary Second Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale. She enjoyed crafts, reading, spending time with her grandsons, cooking, and collecting cookbooks. Jeanne is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Gretchen (Colegrove) Lawrence of Mansfield, PA; and two grandsons Daniel and Sammy Lawrence; her sister, Roberta Cheek Pomeroy of Oqunquit, ME. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Lawrence and a son, Luke Lawrence. A memorial of her life will take place later this year. Jeanne's wishes were that in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to either the Sanctuary Second Presbyterian Church 1400 N. Federal Highway Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 or your local hospice care.
