Obituary of John Warren Cummings

John Warren Cummings, age 55, of Blossburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He was born on July 29, 1965 in Blossburg, PA, a son of George and Patricia (Queal) Cummings. John was married to Lorrie (Butler) Cummings. He worked in maintenance for the US Army Corps and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mansfield, PA. John enjoyed camping, hiking, hunting, and was extremely proud of his grandchildren. John is survived by his wife, Lorrie; his father, George Cummings, Sr. of Middlebury Center, PA; six children, Billy Cummings of Lock Haven, PA, Keven (Katie) Cummings of Morris Run, PA, Josh Cummings of Troy, PA, Isaac Cummings of Blossburg, PA, Hellen Parthemer of Morris Run, PA, and Heather (Trevor) Port of Johnsonburg, PA; 18 grandchildren; two brothers, Scott Cummings of Tioga, PA, and Aaron (Jessica Vance) Cummings of Wellsboro, PA; and a sister, Jenell (Timothy) Pelton of Middlebury Center, PA. He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, David and George Cummings, Jr. Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 1-2pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 100 Brooklyn St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2pm. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA 16933 to assist the family with expenses.
