Obituary of Wilford G. Heater

Wilford "Willie" G. Heater, age 81, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 17, 1940 in Tioga, PA, a son of Milford and Ellen (Merrick) Heater, Sr. Wilford and his wife, Nancy (Warner) Heater, would have celebrated 62 years of marriage on August 21, 2021. He was self-employed as a farmer for over 50 years and also worked for Elmira Transit Mix, Lemoncelli Tires, and assisted Dr. Cook in Pine City, NY. Wilford was also a member of an elite poker club. Wilford is survived by his wife; three children, Penny (Keith) Robbins, Randy Heater, Mark (Kelly) Heater; constant companion, Buddy; grandchildren, Jacob (Ashleigh) Heater, Caleb Heater, Bradley (Carrie) Robbins, Blair (Whitney) Robbins, Joseph (Beth) Heater, Travis (Hannah) Bailey, Mason Arnold, Mike Arnold, and Taylor Arnold; great grandchildren, Olivia Robbins, Allison Robbins, Dalton Heater, Derek Heater, Kaedon Bailey, Lylha Bailey, Randy J. Heater, Maddie Smith, and Rylie Smith; sisters, Velma Bailey, Ruth Powlison, Janet (Randy) Tripp; sister-in-law, Jeanette Heater; brothers-in-law, Merritt Heck, and Richard Baker; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Milford Heater, Jr.; sisters, Bernice Heck, Norma Baker, Erma Mitchell, Sherry Miller, and Joyce Heater. A private funeral service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Burial will take place in Jobs Corners Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
