Obituary of Wayne "Whitey" Wilson

Wayne "Whitey" Wilson age 84 of Mansfield, PA died on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Whitey was the husband of the late June (Brion) Wilson who died in 2018. He was born on April 29, 1937 in Blossburg, PA a son of Wayne and Pearl (Bonnell) Wilson. Whitey was the owner and operator of the former Wilson's Dodge and Eddies Truck Stop both in Mansfield, PA. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #350. He was a US Army veteran in the Airborne Division. Whitey is survived by his daughter, Diane Wilson Lamm of Charleston, SC; a daughter-in-law Angela Wilson; grandchildren Ashley (Craig) Barclay, Eric (Colleen) Bendig, Ian, Conor, Patrick and Erin Wilson; great-grandchildren Jack Barclay, Chatham Barclay and Lilly Kate Bendig; two brothers, Gerald Wilson of Covington, PA and Garry (Judith) Wilson of West Chester, PA; a sister-in-law Deborah Pirkle of Dunedin, FL a brother in-law Carl Brion of Mansfield, PA, along with many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son Wayne Wilson and a brother Kenneth Wilson. In keeping with Whitey's wishes there will be no services. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
